What is most important to you?
It's not time, it's not money, it's your attention.
"The most precious wealth you have is attention."
This viewpoint is learned from Teacher Li Xiaolai.
Attention refers to the ability of a person's mental activity to be directed and focused on something.
I think the fairest thing is that regardless of whether you are poor or rich, healthy or not, everyone has only 24 hours a day.
However, not everyone thinks that a day is 24 hours. If we spend our attention on entertainment and enjoyment, we will find that time passes quickly and accompanied by various complaints such as "why am I not excellent enough, why do I still have so many things to do". Complaining will reduce our energy, make us blame, arrogant, consume ourselves, and even make us lose hope, entering a vicious cycle.
Where does my attention go?
- Watching short videos
- Mental consumption
- Selecting books and courses
- Helping friends solve simple and energy-consuming tasks
In fact, there is nothing wrong with where attention is spent, but the premise is that you are willing to do so.
If you want to become better, I think you should know which things should not occupy your attention.
Where should you focus your attention to avoid regrets?
- True love
If you truly love something, put your most precious wealth (attention) on it as much as possible.
- Personal growth
Spend your attention on acquiring skills. Having multiple skills won't overwhelm you. Your efforts will give you the answers you want someday in the future.
- Do something useful for others
"A person who creates value with heart, time will give you the answer."
